NoteTower is a manufacturer of home and office organization tools. They are a proud family firm in Sydney, Australia, which has developed from a backyard shed by creating unique goods that serve a real purpose in today's workplace. The company's expertise is in producing organizing solutions that are useful and elegant and fit neatly in your office or study. This is their passion and love, which means they put their brains and souls into their work.
Their objective is to provide time-saving home and workplace organizing tools for busy people. The company was believed to be founded on a simple yet prevalent dissatisfaction. When you glance at it, do you have notes glued to your desktop monitor? Do you have a stack of sticky notes on your desk? Are your study or workplace walls covered in images, notes, lists, or schedules? Do you ever have trouble finding missing documents, notes, or vital information?
You are not alone if you answered yes to any of these questions. Notes are there to keep critical information at your fingertips by putting it in plain sight and making it easily accessible. This is good until, over time, we become overwhelmed by all of these paper objects vying for our attention, and our workspace becomes cluttered. Clutter in the workplace leads to an uncomfortable working atmosphere and lower productivity.
This is the dilemma that prompted Sydney-based developer Eric Costas to create a solution that allows you to keep critical paper objects in plain sight and manage them over time without the need for tacks, pins, tape, or glue. Because of the vertical desktop tower and variety of ingenious clips, it's dubbed NoteTower. It's a one-of-a-kind solution that allows you to easily organize and display your papers, notes, and images in an ideal view.
Eric had the concept while dealing with the frustrations of desktop clutter and an untidy work environment firsthand. He narrates, "I developed an uncontrollable fascination with sticky notes. They were all over my computer monitor, desktop, light, file trays, and so on! Then I misplaced a note containing the travel information for my parents' upcoming journey to Sydney, and I had to pick them up. I couldn't phone them since they were in the air, and I didn't know the flight number or arrival time. The problem was averted after many hours of conversing with airline personnel, but the irritation persisted. After that experience, I thought it would be useful to have something on my desktop that keeps essential notes organized, holds them so they don't get misplaced, and shows them all in one area, so they stay in view and front of mind?"
After looking around the market, Eric realized there were no items that adequately addressed the problem. As a result, Eric made the decision to create his own desktop note organizer. After seeing the original prototype, Eric's wife Sara said, "It would be better if it displayed papers as well." Following further refinement, innovative folding arms were devised to hold copy paper when folded out but could be folded back in to show smaller paper objects when tucked in. New samples were created, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
The NoteTower Desktop Pro, the first of its kind NoteTower product, was subsequently produced. Customers who had similar issues managing notes and paper things praised the NoteTower Desktop Pro's multi-functionality right away. The consumer reaction was strong, and it became clear how much sticky note and desktop clutter there was.
Customers were swapping out bulky photo frames for the NoteTower Desktop Pro because they liked how easy it was to show many images of family, friends, and pets and then quickly switch them out after a period of time to keep their inspiration fresh. Other customers, such as office workers, were ecstatic with how the NoteTower Desktop Pro allowed them to customize their work environment, while students loved how the device made it simple to reference papers, write assignments, keep notes, and recall content for tests.
The first of its types, NoteTower, was rapidly discovered to be able to promote productivity, improve motivation, and be an ideal study aid, despite its origins as a device to organize notes and declutter work environments. Following the success of the NoteTower Desktop Pro, Eric returned to the workshop to design the following NoteTower product, a Monitor Mount version that attaches to monitors, which was named the NoteTower Monitor Mount.
The NoteTower Monitor Mount has been an enormous success and has gotten a lot of positive feedback from consumers. Reportedly, they had one student client write to them to tell them how the NoteTower Monitor Mount helped him manage his attention deficit problem and enhanced his studies. It was a really remarkable and moving email for the company, and knowing that their product had made a meaningful impact in that young man's life was reassuring. The NoteTower team has just taken on their most challenging task yet by entering the Whiteboard sector and revolutionizing the Dry Erase Board experience with the new NoteTower Dry Erase Combination Boards, and the adventure continues.
