Ironwood Furniture

Since the 1980s, Ironwood Manufacturing has been producing robust, practical furniture in the Rocky Mountain West. Their history and location have aided in the development of a solid and competitive business. It is a family-owned firm that prides itself on an honest handshake and fair trading.

Their original enterprise was built on supplying custom-built tables and chairs for schools, offices, and libraries. Ironwood branched out into the ready-to-assemble furnishings market in 2003. Since then, they've enhanced and expanded their RTA product line. And, in keeping with their service legacy, this product line is designed to reach and surpass market expectations.

Ironwood Manufacturing has been producing school and workplace furniture for over 30 years. Their roots go back to 1959 when Clinton Knudson opened a small woodshop to make dressers and bedside tables. Edward and Chuck, two of his sons, took over the business in the early 1970s and expanded it to a four-person enterprise. They began making corporate furniture in the mid-1970s, and Edward and his wife Carol started Ironwood production on their own in 1984. Brandon, their son, took over the Ironwood Manufacturing business in 2006, carrying on the family history of three generations of experience.
